vaikkei puhu ääneen.

Joka loppiainen sukulaiset muistuttaa:

Synnyit maailmaan alla onnen tähtien.

Ei vastaa sanaakaan mutta silmät tulta lyöden

kauniisiin kasvoihin hymyn taistelee.

Vieläjonnekkin onnentähden mäteen!

Koulussa sen kirjoitukset ääneen luetaan.

siitäopettajat sanoo aina niin;

Tuosta työstäme tullaan kyllävieläkuulemaan.

Ja se kirjoittelee niihin aineisiin

kuinka sunnuntaisin perhe harrastaa

ja vieraatkin voi tulla kylään ihan milloin vaan.
