As I lay in shrouds among the wasted dead

A callus soul reveals the carriage blooded red

The clouds were dripping poison

Will we be the seekers?

Before we are the chosen

Will the angels give us hope

For a brighter sky than these

Something more than a bitter challenge

Something we cannot perceive

With a glance the gates are open

To a path that still remains
