sick of tyrants

Drink to remember smoke to forget

Trigger finger walk wink and gun?

Like you never knew

We stained this canvas with sordid colour

If we needed you we’d beg?

There’s no breath in this heart

Its taken all the pills

And I wish I could change

The taste of them today

Cos I feel sick with doubt

They all would seem so close
