Morning comes slowly out from the eastern skies

There is no warning for wanting to say Goodbye

This hellish weather is pushing us further inside

How long can a summer bird stay the winter and still be alive?

You can build me up

But you can’t tear me down

These stairs are made of stone

I won’t get kicked around

I have seen many seasons and learned things that opened my eyes

But even the wise ones find heart to be stronger than mind

These wheels must move forward, cannot sift through the dust that’s behind
