Horizont - Illuminate

Vier, drei, zwei, eins, null…

Kontakt am Grund nur mit den Augen

Schwarzes Wasser, sanft entschwebend

Eingeschlafen wachgezählt

Und traumgeküsst in Schoß des Meeres

Wenn nichts mehr meinen Atem hält

Und der kalte Abendwind

Nur noch die Nebel mit sich bringt

Will ich fahr’n von dieser Welt

Und nehm' das Steuer in die Hand

Über Wogen zu dem Land

Hinter’m Nebel unter’m Horizont

Auf der Suche nach der Stille

Unerreichte, dunkle Tiefen

Die mit Engelszungen riefen

Mich hinab im Traume schwebend

Nicht mehr atmend, nicht mehr lebend

Einzug haltend, transformierend

Meerestrunken, traumgebärend

Unberührt und ungebunden

Und auf der Flucht vor meinem Sein

Treibt der Wind mich übers Meer

Ich will sein nun nimmermehr

Ich nehm' das Ruder in die Hand

Und fahre fort zu diesem Land

Dort hinter’m Nebel unter’m Horizont

Four, three, two, one, zero...

Black water gently floating away

Asleep counted awake

And dreamily kissed in the lap of the sea

When nothing holds my breath anymore

And the cold evening wind

Only the fog entails

I want to drive from this world

And take control

Over waves to the land

Behind the fog below the horizon

In search of stillness

Unmatched dark depths

Who cried with angelic tongues

Floating down in my dream

No more breathing, no more living

Invading, transforming

Drunk with the sea, giving birth to dreams

Untouched and unbound

And on the run from my being

The wind drives me across the sea

I never want to be anymore

I'll take the oar in my hand

And continue to this country

There behind the fog under the horizon
