Aberrations - Human Future

I crave absolution

Why can be hard to discern

Replete with guilt

Which ill to assuage today

Consciousness dissipating

Dismiss consolation as deceit

Cannot trust in many

Cannot stifle the angst

Further the loathing

All that is wanted

Cannot be granted

A body to be company

Yet then a ghost to me

Transfixed in the static

Entering the surreal

I’ll ignore this world

In favour of hallucinations
