Varjot öisen metsän vääristyen nietoksiin

Joulukuun silmissäni surun jäätämissä

Autiona siintää Lapin tunturit

Horisontissa siniliekkien roihutessa

Valottomina hiljaisessa yössä, kaukana

Takaa metsien

Varjoissa… Hiljaisuus vallitsee varjoissa…

Lailla erämaan susien vaellan jäiseen

Yksinäisyyteen aina pohjoiselle merelle asti

Yksin pimeydessä, vain talvikuu mustalla

Taivaalla ylläni.
