Berühmtheit ist ja kein Einwand

Gegen Männer, die in den Filmen stehn

Ich lüpfte neulich die Leinwand

Ich wollt mal einen näher sehn

Ach, war das eine Enttäuschung!

Ich bekam einen kältenden Hass —

Von Herz keine Spur

Eine Karikatur… Und

Nur ‑ nur ‑ das

Ich nahm den Tee und den Kuchen

In Berlin und Frohnau und mal hier und mal dort

Nun, dacht ich, willst mal versuchen

Eine Freundschaft mit einem Herrn vom Sport

Der bricht das eigne Training —

Auf wen ist denn heut noch Verlass???

Voll Hirn keine Spur

Eine hübsche Figur —

Aber sonst

Wie kann man Frauen so verkennen?

Mein Gott, sie sind ja gar nicht so!

Gewiss, es will jede entbrennen…

Aber doch nicht stets und irgendwo!

Auf Harfen kann jedermann klimpern
