I am haunted by a begging

Something that I can’t escape

A call ringing inside my head

Afraid to face it

But it refers to me

Can’t silence it when I sleep

It will leave me when I am dead

So what do I do to close this sore

Always been what to question myself

It begs me to say

All the things I mean

Without letting doubt

Hold me down

There is a voice deep inside of me

Begging to be removed

Shed the guilt

That trapped me here

Like chains around my heart

There’s stories I can not keep

But it uses guilt

To trap me here

To close this sore
