schon mein ganzes leben lang

steh ich unter diesem zwang

ein integ’rer mensch zu sein

und als rächer der enterbten

als entlarver der verderbten

unterdrückte zu befrei’n

kurz — ein echter robin hood

hilfreich, edel immer gut

der niemals den kopf verliert

seinen müll akribisch trennt

nie mit einer and’ren pennt

sich für schwache engagiert

aber neulich in der nacht

bin ich plötzlich aufgewacht

ich stand auf und machte licht

sah im spiegel mein gesicht … und dann sagte ich zu mir:

eigentlich bist du ein schwein

egoistisch und gemein

und betrachtet man’s genau

bist du eine miese sau

bin ich wirklich so ein held

der als retter dieser welt

keinen igel überrollt?

der, politisch stets korrekt

jedes unrecht gleich entdeckt

minderheiten achtung zollt?

ist der ruf erst ruiniert

lebt sich’s völlig ungeniert

jetzt laß ich die sau heraus!

es ist schön auf dieser welt

wenn man sich nicht mehr verstellt

und man erntet noch applaus

kinder, geht es einem gut

wenn man nix für and’re tut

wenn das gute endlich ruht

nur den meisten fehlt der mut … sich die wahrheit zu gesteh’n

eigentlich bin ich ein schwein …

egoistisch und gemein

und ich hab', nur wußt' ich’s nicht

das talent zum bösewicht

mitleid?

— kenn ich nur mit mir

halt mir freunde zum pläsier

um im mittelpunkt zu sein

I am under this compulsion

to be a person of integrity

and as avenger of the disinherited

as a debunker of the corrupt

to liberate the oppressed

in short — a real robin hood

helpful, classy always good

who never loses his head

meticulously separates his rubbish

never sleeps with someone else

committed to helping the weak

but the other night

I suddenly woke up

I got up and turned on the light

saw my face in the mirror ... and then i said to myself:

actually you are a pig

selfish and mean

and look closely

you are a lousy pig

Am I really such a hero

the savior of this world

didn't run over a hedgehog?

the one who is always politically correct

every injustice discovered immediately

respects minorities?

once the reputation is ruined

life is completely uninhibited

now I let the sow out!

it is beautiful in this world

if you stop pretending

and you get applause

children, are you doing well

if you don't do anything for others

when the good finally rests

only most of them lack the courage ... to admit the truth

I'm actually a pig...

actually I'm a pig

selfish and mean

and I have, only I didn't know it

the talent for the villain

pity?

— I only know with myself

hold me friends for pleasure

to be the center of attention
