Jag ska ut och leta guld

Men inte sånt som glimmar här

Jag ska finna mej en skatt

Och öppna en affär

Där ska jag sälja kärlek

Till alla som vill ha

Och dom sak få betala

Med sånt som jag vill ha

Det finns så många människor

Som inte äger nåt

Men ändå har så mycket

Som dom vill ge bort

Dom ska få handla gratis

Ett sätt att visa sympati

Och så finns det dom med skavsår

I händerna

Men dom struntar jag i

Jag ska ut och leta frihet

Men inte sånt man köper här

Jag ska frita mina sinnen

Och bygga mej en bro

Som bär mej

Över haven

Till nåt annat land

Där ska jag kyssa

Mina bröder och systrar

Och vi ska älska varann

Jag ska ut och leta drömmar

Till mitt nya jag

Jag har delat upp i högar

Dåligt och bra

Jag pussar på det onda

Och älskar allting som är gott

Och jag har blivit till en helhet

Av de gåvor jag fått

I'm going out looking for gold

But not something that shines here

I'll find myself a treasure

And open a store

There I will sell love

To anyone who wants

And they have to pay

With things I want

There are so many people

Who does not own anything

But still have so much

Which they want to give away

They should be able to shop for free

A way to show sympathy

And then there are those with abrasions

In the hands

But I ignore them

I'm going out looking for freedom

But not the kind you buy here

I will free my senses

And build me a bridge

Which carries me

Across the oceans

To another country

There I will kiss

My brothers and sisters

And we will love each other

I'm going out looking for dreams

To my new self

I have divided into piles

Bad and good

I kiss the evil

And love everything that is good

And I have become a whole

Of the gifts I received
