Auf der Suche nach dem Sinn ging ich immer nur im Kreis

Reicht zum glücklich sein ein Kind oder ein Friedensnobelpreis

Gibt es Liebe wie im Film ich fühl' mich wie Mr. Smith

Meine Frau hat Waffen doch ich krieg' sie niemals zu Gesicht

Bin andauernd nur im Studio schreibe Texte um mein Leben

Denn die andern' reden nurnoch von ihren Bausparverträgen

Brauch ich wirklich Glück und Liebe wenn ich richtig gut verdiene?

Nach Normen streben oder sich entgegen aller Regeln bewegen Und das tun was

ein' befreit von all dem Druck was uns aufbaun' Sollte macht uns nur kaputt

Dann nehm ich nen großen Schluck mit meinen Freunden aus der Flasche um zu

feiern das wir hier sind und wir jeden Tag erwachen

Was wir tun könn' wir nicht lassen doch wir fahren damit gut

Zeit vergeht so wie im Flug.

Wie schnell wird Asche aus der Glut?

Wir kriegn' eh niemals genug lass uns schätzen was wir haben

Ein Hoch auf unsre' Macken, Makel und auf alte Narben, auf Werte Die wir waren

und auf Laster die wir tragen, denn wenn wir einmal Alt sind wird uns keiner

danach fragen

Haben immernoch das sagen wolln' sie uns kontrolliern' willst du Autos
