Nägel sind in meinem Kopf

Die tun so schrecklich weh

Sind eingeschlagen ganz und gar

Ich trag sie in mir, Jahr für Jahr

Egal, mit wem ich geh

Hämmer sind in meinem Kopf

Die schlagen alles klein

Zertrümmern, was ich gerne mag

Auch Sätze, die ich niemals sag

So bleiben sie geheim

Ich hätte es nur halb so schwer

Wenn dieser Kopf aus Hartholz wär!!!

Scheren sind in meinem Kopf

Die schneiden alles ab

Sie klappern stets und sind nie still

Doch das was ich vergessen will

Das wuchert nicht zu knapp

Sägen sind in meinem Kopf

Die raspeln hin und her

Von Ihren Zacken spritzt das Leid

Die Angst und auch die Traurigkeit

Ich brauch sie mehr und mehr!

Nails are in my head

They hurt so terribly

Are completely taken in

I carry them inside me, year after year

It doesn't matter who I go with

Hammers are in my head

They break everything down

Smash what I like

Even phrases I never say

That's how they stay secret

It would only be half as difficult for me

If that head was made of hardwood!!!

Scissors are on my mind

They cut everything

They always rattle and are never still

But what I want to forget

That doesn't grow too tightly

Saws are on my mind

They rasp back and forth

Sorrow spurts from their teeth

The fear and also the sadness

I need her more and more!
