Schattenland - Erdling

Ich steh hier im Regen

Und kein Gott spricht zu mir.

Und ich frage mich immer wieder:

Warum bin ich hier?

Aus meiner Seele ragt ein Speer.

Es gibt keine Gefühle.

Ich bin kalt und Leer.

Ich will nochmal durch’s Feuer gehen.

Bis dass mein Herz in Flammen steht.

Funken wirbeln durch die Luft.

Auf dass ich nie mehr atmen muss.

Ich denk an all die toten Wünsche.

Egal.

Wie oft ich es versuchte:

Meine Hoffnung ist verbrannt

Und schmort dahin im Schattenland.

Ich fühl mich so hilflos.

Hat mein Leben einen Grund?

Die Flamme in mir brennt nicht mehr

Und kein Wort kommt aus dem Mund.

Ich will die Ketten sprengen.

Auf das mein Geist endlich wieder frei ist.

Ich nehm den Mut zusammen.

Auf dass ich nie mehr wieder weinen muss.

Ein letztes mal

Schrei ich das Leid aus mir heraus.

Bis es weitergeht.

Bevor mein Herz in Flammen steht.

Why I'm here?

A spear sticks out of my soul.

There are no feelings.

I'm cold and empty.

I want to walk through fire again.

Until my heart is on fire.

Sparks swirl through the air.

So that I never have to breathe again.

I think of all the dead wishes.

Doesn't matter.

How many times I tried:

My hope is burned

And simmers away in the shadow land.

I feel so helpless.

Does my life have a reason?

The flame in me no longer burns

And not a word comes out of the mouth.

I want to break the chains.

So that my mind is finally free again.

I gather the courage.

So that I never have to cry again.

One last time

I scream the sorrow out of me.

Until it continues.

Before my heart is on fire.
