Auf einer Lichtung tief drinnen im Wald

Dort thront ein Felsen, Jahrhunderte alt

Mit einer Botschaft aus ferner Zeit

Inmitten der ewigen Dunkelheit!

In arger, ach so schwerer Not

Wird ein Knabe neu geboren

Wiederbringen wird er uns

Was der Menschheit einst ging verloren

Fern von hier, auf grünen Weiden

Wo Falken noch in Frieden kreisen

Reifte er zum Mann so stark

Wartend auf den jüngsten Tag

So ritt er aus, auf seinem Banner

Prangt das Zeichen der Ewigkeit

Ohne Furcht und ohne Gnade
