Questa éla storia di un piccolo bar

di quando il bar era ancora un magico porto

dal quale partivano navi, cariche di sogni di gloria

Al bar Renata c'èpassata

c'èpassata, tutta la mia gioventù

e i sogni ad occhi aperti vissuti là

Il rock and roll nasceva e noi

giàpoveri ma belli noi

imitavamo Marlon Brando e James Dean

E bulli e pupe un po' così

camice scure, cravatte bianche

la testa carica di stelle

per inventarne delle belle

Un posticino, dove il vino

era servito ben ghiacciato

e nel cuore il caldo della gioventù

Allontanarsi tra la nebbia

per fumar, guardare il bar

come una nave illuminata in mezzo al mar

E poi rientrare per cantare

tutti insieme, tutti in coro

seguendo il grande Buscaglione

Tra i fumi dei liquori

si parlava poi di amori che

per la metànon erano vissuti mai

E come naufraghi sperduti

per sentirsi vecchi amici

a noi bastava esserci un po' guardati
