Не собрать рукавом перья по реке,

Не обнять луковый полдень налегке.

Осталось прежним ждать звона звёзд в поход ночной,

Cломить края щита, пеленать волной речной

Рассвет усталый…

Заплести в косы троп все упрёки глаз,

Уронить сны в сугроб, как бывал горазд,

Бросать добычу в гон, пить горстями синий дым.

Прощать костры рукой, замерзать в узор слюды

Небесным даром мимо голосов,

Что звали балуй, балуй без стыда

Жги свистом алым свататься в уста

Росой студёной,

Безмятежно звать покоем

Отрешённо, перстень грел мизинец…
