Obwohl ich noch im Koma war

Sah ich plötzlich, tief

Von ganz weit oben

Auf mich selbst hin ab

Und dann schwebte ich in einen Tunnel —

Einem, einem Licht entgegen

Und es war das schönste Licht

Was ich je gesehen habe

Die Ewigkeit unendlich

Eine Reise voller Hoffnung

Heute ist ein guter Tag zum Sterben

Even though I was still in a coma

I saw suddenly, deeply

From way up

on myself

And then I floated into a tunnel—

One, one light towards

And it was the most beautiful light

What I have ever seen

Eternity infinite

A journey of hope

Today is a good day to die
