Crematory is a German metal band formed in 1991. Hailing from Germany, the band began with traditional death metal but later moved toward industrial and gothic metal. In the mid-1990s, Crematory gained fame opening for bands such as My Dying Bride , Tiamat , and Atrocity . Their discography includes numerous albums that cemented their status in the genre. Crematory made a significant contribution to the development of gothic metal, combining dark melodies with a powerful sound.
