Tengo en mi rancho cuatro caballos

Que traen de cabeza a todas

Son cuatro potros desenfrenados

Que no dan escapatoria

Pero ay amigo el diablo

Se les apareció disfrazado de yegua

Con pelo atrigueña'o

De ojos color de mar la potranca cerrera

Y les clavo el querer

Patas no vuelvo a ver se desbocan celosos

Y ella sin acceder

Juega con todos pues corre como demonio

Y hoy mi roció mancha’o

No se me escapa mas con las yeguas de al lado
