Is favored over getting wise

And foolishness is recommended

The dollars mom and dad are spending are irrelevant

College debt is evident, heavier than elephants

Graduate and wait to get a job so I can hate it later?

I wanted more, but it seems that my dreams turned to nightmares

Shadows that attack the truth you are laying in

Peddlers of sin and stuff

A vein that trains straight from the stain of the minister

Spiritually sinister, selling a false gospel

Breathing in despair and exhaling fear from the nostril

Lost sheep left flock

Shepard rod became hostile

Going through the motions, walking fossils

Foster inside a terror that we all share

Only in the light are we free from these nightmares, nightmares, nightmares
