Look at that bird sitting in a tree

Singing its little heart out

And look at that cloud, a picture in the sky

And the sunlight through the leaves

And all I know, it’s beautiful

And it never meant so much to me

There are no rainbows without the rain

A broken heart will find love again

Without darkness you can’t shine the light

I took so much for granted, I have been blind

And look at their eyes, they’re wonderful

I see little bits of me

I hope they find the key to life

And a passion for their dreams

It’s not easy ‘cos it’s not meant to be

But it’s easier if you believe
