Aus dem Nichts und wie geschenkt

Warst du da und warst mir fremd

Ein Mensch, den ich da sah, noch entfernt, erstmals nah

In meinem Blick, gefolgt von einem ersten Schritt

Bis die Seelen sich berühren, es sachte fortzuführen

Was begonnen hat am Tag

Dem ein Geheimnis im Innersten zugrunde lag

Auf dem Grunde dieser Stunde formt ein Wunder eine Runde

Das die Menschheit stets verband und sie führt in neues Land

Das den Horizont schnell weitet und zu echter Liebe leitet

Es ist ein Wunder, dass du bist

Immer mehr war nun zu sehen, wie sich unsere Welten drehen

Wie sie langsam, wie sie schnell, wie sie dunkel, wie sie hell

Ihrem Rhythmus stetig folgen und der Nebel und die Wolken

Viel verschleiert, was verkehrt, frei gibt unversehrt

Durch den Handschlag unsrer Herzen teilen wir nun Glück

Und teilen uns die Schmerzen, teiln die Freude

Die Tränen, teiln die Beute

Wir sind gefunden und verbunden, müssen suchen und erkunden

Denn das Feuer, das nun brennt, muss man schützen, sonst verglimmts

Es ist ein Wunder, dass du bist

Alte Ahnung, sie zerrinnt, wenn Gewissheit neu gewinnt

So manches, das sich windet, wird zu dem, was uns verbindet

Auf geheimnisvolle Weise, ziehen wir so unsre Kreise

Die sich eigenwillig finden, sich zu neuen Mustern binden

Keinem Reichtum ist dies gleich

Denn Verschwendung macht uns reich

Die Seele badet still in diesem Reichtum, wenn sie will

Es ist meine schönste Laune, dass ich gern darüber staune

Was es meint und was es ist:

A person I saw there, still distant, close for the first time

In my gaze, followed by a first step

Till souls touch, gently carry it on

What started on the day

Which was based on a secret deep inside

At the bottom of this hour a miracle forms a round

That always connected mankind and leads them into new land

That quickly broadens horizons and guides to true love

It's a miracle that you are

More and more it was now possible to see how our worlds turn

How they are slow, how they are fast, how they are dark, how they are light

Follow your rhythm steadily and the fog and the clouds

Much veiled, what is wrong, free gives intact

Through the handshake of our hearts we now share happiness

And share the pain, share the joy

The tears, share the spoils

We are found and connected, we need to seek and explore

Because the fire that is burning now has to be protected, otherwise it will die out

It's a miracle that you are

Old notions, they melt away when certainty wins again

Some things that squirm become what connects us

In a mysterious way, we draw our circles

Who find themselves idiosyncratic, bind themselves to new patterns

This is equal to no wealth

Because waste makes us rich

The soul quietly bathes in this richness if it wants to

It's in my best mood that I like to be amazed

What it means and what it is:
