Irgendwo an einem Fluss, Straße ist nicht weiter wichtig

Zwei Gestalten an dem letzten Ort, an dem noch schwaches Licht ist

Ich weiß nicht, wie sie heißen, doch die beiden lieben sich

Teilen sich ihr Leid, ihre Zeit und bedienen dich

An den Fensterscheiben haften Mittlerweile 30 Jahre

Es wird bald ein Drama geben, aber das kann keiner ahnen

Weißes Haar, weißer Bart, Falten auf der Knochenhand

Rabenpuppen werfen ihre Schatten auf das Holz der Wand

Klingt wie ein schlechtes Märchen, aber dieser Ort ist echt

Auf dem Boden wälzen sich zwei Männer nach nem Wortgefecht

Schlagen sich, vertragen sich, sitzen hier allabendlich

Zahlen ihren Deckel, sagen «Tschüss» und umarmen sich

Eines Tages kommt ein Brief, der etwas aus dem Rahmen fällt

Der die Existenz vom kleinen Hexenhaus in Frage stellt

Und weil sie sonst nix haben, schwören die Betreiber sich

Alle Wege führten damals ins Abraxas

Wo ich mein' 28. Geburtstag ganz allein verbracht hab

Bei Gert und Angie in der Kneipe, wo wir in den schwersten Zeiten

Aus- und eingingen, in der Woche nachs um drei

Die beiden sahen mich weinen und bekamen jeden Streit mit

Gert meinte er verzweifle und wisse nicht mehr weiter

Ich konnte leider nur noch schreien, doch er zupfte an seinem Bart

Dachte paar Sekunden nach und füllte ungefragt mein Glas

Das war das Abraxas, wo irgendwas nicht stimmte

Hier höre ich auf zu trinken und ging ein Jahr nicht mehr hin

Aber kam wieder angekrochen, als ich doch wieder im Modus war und

Hier kamen uns die wichtigsten Ideen Fürs Antilopen-Album

Nachdem ich mich mit Danger prügelnd auf dem Boden wälzte

Wischte Gert das Blut auf und servierte uns 'ne Runde Schnäpse

Denk ich heute ans Abraxas, ist es gruselig

Manchmal lauf ich noch vorbei und lege eine Blume hin

Wie die Nadel immer tiefer rutscht ins Zentrum der Platte

Die sich weiter dreht, während sein Herz aufhört zu schlagen

Irgendwann ist alles, was dort mal geschehen ist, vergessen

Das Abraxas ist kein Ort mehr, es ist nur noch ein Gefühl

Manchmal spür ich unterschwellig dieses Rumoren in mir

With Gert and Angie in the pub where we are in the hardest times

Went in and out, three o'clock in the morning

The two saw me crying and got every fight

Gert said he was desperate and didn't know what to do anymore

Unfortunately, I could only scream, but he tugged at his beard

Thought for a few seconds and filled my glass without being asked

That was the Abraxas where something was wrong

This is where I stop drinking and haven't gone in a year

But came crawling back when I was back in mode and

Here we came up with the most important ideas for the antelope album

After I rolled on the floor fighting Danger

Wiped up Gert's blood and served us a round of schnapps

When I think of Abraxas today, it's creepy

Sometimes I walk past and put a flower down

The Abraxas was finished, they lost their lease

Gert made it so that he slept forever

But something went wrong with Angie and she woke up again
