Io domani ti sposerò»

Fu così che lei mi lasciò

Confondendosi tra la folla

Ma il mio cuore la seguì

Mentre si allontanava

La portava verso casa

Una vigile stella

Come il cigno scivola a sera

Sulle acque del lago

Lei questa notte è tornata a me

Nel profondo del mio sonno

Silenzioso era il passo

Del mio amore perduto

La sua mano su di me

E lei sussurrava:
