Porque me incendiaste de deseo

Si yo estaba tan bien muerta de sueño

Con que mentira abriste mi secreto

De que romance antiguo me robaste

Con que rayo de luz me iluminaste

Si yo estaba también muerta de miedo

Porque no me dejaste adormecida

Y me indicaste el mar donde navego

Me dejaste sola sin salida

Porque dejaste aquel lugar vacio

Con que derecho cambiaste mi vida

Si yo estaba tan bien muerta de frio

If I was so well dead from sleep

With what lie did you open my secret

What ancient romance did you steal from me?

With what ray of light did you enlighten me
