Die Uhr am Turme zur Mitternacht schlägt

Tief in den Gemäuern das Grauen sich regt

Geisterstunde angstvoll klingt’s aus jedem Munde

Nun öffnen sich Türen wie von Geisterhand

Es knarren die Balken Schatten tanzen an der Wand

Jede Nacht zur gleichen Zeit weckt die Uhr das Geisterreich

Dann ziehen sie los in’s Dunkel der Nacht

Sie spuken umher die Geister sind erwacht

Wir sind unsterblich Geschöpfe der Nacht

Sind gegenwertig das Grauen das stolz lacht

Bringen den Menschen nächtlichen Spuk

Wenn ihr euch gruselt ja dann geht es uns gut

Schabernack Späße sie treiben ihr Spiel

Die Menschheit in Angst ist der Geister Ziel

Sind arme Geschöpfe aus der Schattenwelt

Sie rascheln Nachts mit Ketten ihre Körper sind entstellt

Verlorene Seelen zum Spuken verbannt

Wir sind überall in Wald Stadt und Land

Wir fristen ein Dasein in der Schattenwelt

Tun dies Nacht für Nacht auch wenn es euch mißfällt

Deep in the walls the horror stirs

It sounds fearful at the witching hour from every mouth

Doors now open as if by magic

The beams are creaking, shadows are dancing on the wall

Every night at the same time, the clock awakens the spirit realm

Then they set off into the darkness of the night

They haunt the spirits have awakened

We are immortal creatures of the night

Are present the horror that proudly laughs

Bring nightly spooks to people

If you're scared, yes, then we're fine

Practical jokes they drive their game

Humanity in fear is the spirits target

It sounds fearful at the witching hour from every mouth

Are poor creatures from the shadow world

They rustle chains at night their bodies are disfigured

Banished lost souls to haunt

We are everywhere in forest town and country

We eke out an existence in the shadow world

Do this night after night even if you don't like it
