Давайте прощаться, друзья…

Немного устала гитара,

Ее благородная тара

Полна нашей болью до дна.

За все расплатившись сполна,

Расходимся мы понемногу,

И дальняя наша дорога

Уже за спиною видна, уже за спиною видна.

Давайте прощаться, друзья…

Кто знает — представится ль случай,

Чтоб без суеты неминучей

В глаза поглядеть не скользя?

Такая уж даль позвала,

Где истина неугасима,

А фальш уже невыносима,

Такая уж песня пришла…

Чтоб к этому не возвращаться,

Зовут нас к себе домочадцы,

Чтоб вновь собралась вся семья,

Но, даже дожив до седин,

Мы гоним с усмешкою осень:

«Мадам, мне всего сорок восемь,

А вам — уже двадцать один…»
