Владимир Федосеев is a Soviet and Russian conductor, accordionist, and teacher, born on August 5, 1932. He is a People's Artist of the USSR and a laureate of the USSR State Prize, as well as the M. I. Glinka State Prize of the RSFSR. Since 1974, Владимир Федосеев has served as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Большого симфонического оркестра имени П. И. Чайковского . During his career, he was awarded the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland." His contributions to world classical music and opera have made him a key figure in Russian and international musical culture.
