
Vic Chesnutt (real name Вик Чеснатт ) was an American singer and songwriter born in 1964 in the United States. His work spanned the genres of alternative rock and folk rock. His debut album "Little" was released in 1990, but his real success came in 1996 with the tribute album "Sweet Relief II: Gravity of the Situation" on which his songs were performed by such stars as REM , Garbage , Madonna , and The Smashing Pumpkins . Vic Chesnutt made a significant contribution to the development of alternative rock, leaving a distinctive mark on the music industry.
