Верка Сердючка is a stage persona created by Ukrainian artist Андреем Данилко in 1993. This character, representing a sleeping car conductor, gained popularity thanks to the talk show " СВ-шоу " on the TV-6 channel. Верка Сердючка became a pop icon, releasing such hits as "Гоп-гоп" and "Dancing Lasha Tumbai" with which the artist won second place at the Евровидение-2007 Contest. The image of Верки Сердючки has become a symbol of humor and originality, leaving a significant mark on Ukrainian and international pop culture.
