Трент Резнор is an American musician, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, born in 1965. He is the longtime leader of the industrial band Nine Inch Nails , which he formed in 1988. In 2007, Резнор left Interscope Records and spent five years working independently before signing with Columbia Records . In 2010, he formed the post-industrial band How to Destroy Angels with his wife, Mariqueen Maandig-Reznor, and Atticus Ross. Резнор has won Academy Awards and Golden Globes for his soundtracks to The Social Network and Soul. His contribution to the development of industrial music and soundtracks is invaluable.
