Tom Lehrer (full name Thomas Andrew Lehrer ) is an American composer, singer, satirist, and mathematician, born in 1928 in the United States. He is best known for his humorous songs recorded in the 1950s and 1960s. Among his most famous works are "The Elements" and "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park" Although his musical output consists of approximately 50 songs, Tom Lehrer work has had a significant influence on American culture, particularly in the genre of satirical music.
