
Скотт Уокер (born Ноэл Скотт Энгел ) is an American-British singer, songwriter, and record producer, born in 1943 in the United States. He rose to prominence as a member of The Walker Brothers , whose hits, such as "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore)" , gained popularity in the 1960s. Скотт Уокер subsequently launched a successful solo career, releasing four albums that reached the top 10 of the UK charts. He lived in the UK from 1965 and received British citizenship in 1970. His work has had a significant influence on progressive rock and avant-garde music.
