Esther Ofarim is an Israeli singer and actress, born June 13, 1941. She is known for her contributions to pop music and her performances both in Israel and abroad, including in the United Kingdom. In the 1960s Esther Ofarim gained international fame through a duet with her husband Abi Ofarim , as well as her solo projects. Among her best-known songs are "Tzena, Tzena" and "Cinderella Rockefella" which reached number one on the UK charts. Esther Ofarim has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Israeli music on the global stage.
