These tracks topped charts worldwide, blending his jazz roots with electronic dance music. Despite a lifelong stutter, he turned his speech impediment into an artistic signature. Scatman John remains celebrated for his innovative contributions to pop and electronic dance music. He passed away on December 3, 1999.
