Лу Бега (real name Давид Лубега ) is a German musician of Ugandan and Italian descent, born on April 13, 1975. He works in the genres of pop, jazz, and dance music. Лу Бега is best known for the song "Mambo No. 5" a remake of an instrumental piece Переса Прадо composed in 1949. Лу Бега added his own lyrics to the original music, which made the track a worldwide hit. His work has significantly contributed to the popularization of dance music with elements of retro jazz.
