Sam Butera
Sam Butera was an American tenor saxophonist and singer born in 1927. He is best known for his collaborations with Louis Prima and Keely Smith , with whom he helped shape a unique style that blended jazz, pop, and rock 'n' roll. Butera was a key figure in the early Las Vegas nightclub scene, performing both R&B and jazz compositions. His work with Louis Prima included hits such as "Just a Gigolo/I Ain't Got Nobody" Sam Butera made a significant contribution to the popularization of jazz and its integration with other genres, leaving a lasting mark on musical history.
