Roni Size (real name Ryan Williams ) is an English musician from the United Kingdom, born on October 29, 1969. One of the pioneers of the jungle and drum and bass genres, he gained fame as the frontman of the group Reprazent , which included DJ Krust , Suv , Die , and vocalist Onallee . Roni Size began his career in 1992, recording for the V Recordings label, and later founded his own label Full Cycle Records . In 1997, he and Reprazent won the Mercury Prize for their album New Forms , beating out competitors such as The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy . Roni Size has had a significant influence on the development of drum and bass.
