Робин (real name Робин Мириам Карлссон ) is a Swedish singer, producer, and songwriter born in 1979. She rose to popularity in the late 1990s with the dance hits "Show Me Love" and "Do You Know" from her debut album, Robyn Is Here . In 1997, she co-wrote the song "Du gör mig hel igen" for Melodifestivalen competition. Her single "With Every Heartbeat" reached number one, and Robyn cemented her success on the international stage. In 2009, she won the Swedish Grammis Award for Best Live Act. Робин has made significant contributions to the development of pop and electronic music.
