Robert Glasper is an American jazz pianist and producer, born in 1978. Known for blending jazz, soul, and contemporary R&B, he has been nominated for the Grammy Awards nine times, winning four. His album Black Radio earned the Grammy for Best R&B Album at the 55th ceremony, with its sequel, Black Radio 2, receiving the same award at the 56th. He contributed to Kendrick Lamar's track "These Walls", which won Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 57th Grammy Awards. Additionally, his soundtrack for the film Miles Ahead won Best Soundtrack at the 58th Grammy Awards. Glasper continues to innovate within the jazz and soul genres.
