Plan B , real name Ben Drew, is a British singer-songwriter, rapper, actor, and director, born on 22 October 1983. His musical career began with his debut album Who Needs Actions When You Got Words (2006), which received critical acclaim for its unique approach to hip-hop. In 2010, he released his second studio album The Defamation of Strickland Banks , which transitioned to the soul genre. The album reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. Plan B has made a significant contribution to the development of the British hip-hop and soul scene.
