Phil Everly was an American musician born in 1939 and one half of the duo The Everly Brothers along with his older brother, Don. The duo became known for their harmonious vocal lines and had a significant influence on the development of rock music. Among their most famous hits are "Bye Bye Love" "Wake Up Little Susie" and "All I Have to Do Is Dream" The Everly Brothers were inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986. Phil Everly made an enormous contribution to the popularization of rock and roll and pop music, leaving an indelible mark on musical history.
