Bill Medley (William Thomas Medley) is an American singer and songwriter, born September 19, 1940. He is best known as a member of the duo The Righteous Brothers . Possessing a bass-baritone voice, he performed such hits as "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" and also wrote the songs "Unchained Melody" and "Soul and Inspiration" His work spans the genres of pop, jazz, and vocal music. Bill Medley made a significant contribution to the development of pop music, becoming an icon of his time.
