Pedro Infante was a Mexican singer and actor born on November 18, 1917, in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, and raised in nearby Guamúchil. A prominent figure during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, he starred in over 60 films and recorded more than 350 songs. Known for his performances in ranchera and bolero genres, his most famous works include "Amorcito Corazón" and "Cien Años". Pedro Infante won a Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 1957 Berlin International Film Festival for his role in "Tizoc".
