
Paul Shortino is an American rock singer and musician born in 1953. He is best known for his work with bands like Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot, Bad Boyz, and his own project Shortino. He also collaborated with J. K. Northrup in the duo Shortino/Northrup. As a solo artist, he contributed the song "E. G. G. M. A. N." for the video game Sonic Adventure 2 and its remix for Shadow the Hedgehog. In 1985, he participated in the charity heavy metal project Hear 'n Aid, performing on the single "Stars" alongside icons like Ronnie James Dio and Rob Halford. Shortino remains a notable figure in the rock and heavy metal genres.
