Орри Палл Дирасон is an Icelandic drummer, born on July 4, 1977. He is best known as a member of the band Sigur Rós , which he joined in 1999 after recording the album Ágætis byrjun . His arrival coincided with the beginning of a new phase in the band's history. The album's first track was named after his daughter, Váka. In 2005, Orri married Lukka Sigurðardóttir, and the couple have a son, born in 2010. They live in the suburb of Mosfellsbær, near Reykjavík.
