Nils Lofgren (born June 21, 1951) is an American rock musician, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter. Originally from the United States, he is known as a member of the band Crazy Horse and as a regular member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band . He also founded and fronted the band Grin . His solo career includes numerous albums and contributions to soundtracks. Nils Lofgren has made a significant contribution to the development of rock music, combining virtuoso instrumental mastery with outstanding songwriting.
