
Nik Kershaw (full name Николас Дэвид Кершоу ) is a British musician, vocalist, composer, and producer, born in 1958. He achieved his greatest popularity in the 1980s, particularly in 1984 and 1985, when his singles charted in the UK for 62 consecutive weeks. His best-known songs include "The Riddle" , "I Won't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" , "Wouldn't It Be Good" , and "Dancing Girls" . Nik Kershaw also wrote the hit "The One And Only" , performed by Чесни Хоуксом , which reached number one in the UK charts in 1991. He performed at major events, including Live Aid in 1985, and made a significant contribution to the development of pop music.
