
Kim Wilde (real name Kim Smith ) is a British pop singer, songwriter, DJ, and television presenter, born 18 November 1960. She rose to fame in 1981 with the hit "Kids in America" , which reached number two on UK Singles Chart . In 1983, Kim Wilde won BRIT Award Award for Best British Female Artist. Her cover of "You Keep Me Hangin' On" became a hit in the US. In 2003, she recorded a duet with Nena , "Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime" , which topped the charts in the Netherlands. During her career, she has sold over 30 million records, leaving a significant mark on pop music.
